The Pew Internet & American Life Project has a survey which measures your involvement in using the internet. It measures you based on how much you’re online, what you do when you’re online, and how you contribute to the online world. They rated me a Technology Omnivore and gave this definition: “You have the most information gadgets and services which you use voraciously to participate in cyberspace and express yourself online.” Click on the link to try it for yourself.
I am an instructional technology specialist for the Department of Education which means I develop ways for educators to use technology to increase student achievement. I love my job because it combines my passion for discovering ways technology can enrich our lives and the higher goal of giving every child the opportunity to succeed.
